Know your value by conveying metrics

If you cannot articulate the value you have provided to the companies that have employed you, how can you expect to have a hiring manager know whether he/she can afford to pay you to fix the problems you will be asked to solve if hired? Resumes and interviews get better results when you can provide measurable accomplishments rather descriptions of the things you have done.

The Associated Press says: “Most forecasts predict that Americans are in for a long, painful slog as they try to get back to work. Some forecasts don’t have the unemployment rate getting back to “normal” levels of around 5 percent until 2014.”
